Everything that makes it unique, unlike other regions of the country, is collected in Milan. It seems that the local streets have their own individual style. It can be confidently called an ultra-modern metropolis, which will be interesting for any tourist to visit. Today we have to figure out how to get to Milan from Moscow, and which route will require the least financial costs from travelers.

Plane

Air traffic between Russia and Italy is well developed. This allows you to plan your route by air. At the same time, specify in advance which airport your plane is arriving at, since some of the terminals are located at a decent distance from the city and will require additional costs from tourists to get to their final destination.

Today, several European companies are ready to offer their services to potential customers, as well as a subsidiary of the domestic carrier "Aeroflot", which bears the apt name "Pobeda". It is on the planes of this carrier that you can very quickly and cheaply get from the terminal of the capital's Vnukovo to the Italian city. The cost of a ticket for a day flight (departure at 13.05 local time) will be only 6.5 thousand rubles. And the total duration of the flight (there are no transfers on the route) will not exceed 3.5 hours. Such an advantageous offer allows you not to even look for a better alternative. Moreover, it does not exist.

If you prefer more reputable air carriers, you can pay attention to offers from other companies. Thus, you can purchase tickets for aircraft that fly under the colors of AirBaltic, AirMoldova, Pegasus, Belavia and many others. But it will not work to call such offers affordable. The ticket price starts from 8-8.5 thousand rubles, and in the sky you have to spend from 6 to 24 hours, waiting for a transfer for several hours at intermediate airports.

If you plan to visit other parts of Italy as part of a tourist trip, you can view the available offers from different airlines on the website aviasales.ru

A train

Those who like to travel by rail are advised to take a closer look at an alternative route. Once a week from the platform of the Belorussky railway station there is an express message from Moscow to Nice, the route of which runs right through the city of interest to us. Departure time is 11 hours 18 minutes, and get ready to spend almost 42 hours on the road. The main advantage of this type of travel is the opportunity to look at several European countries at least "out of the corner of the eye". The train route runs through Belarus, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic.

But such a trip cannot be called economical. Ticket prices will easily break the records set by the most reputable airlines. So, for the most budgetary seat in the compartment, you will have to pay from 18.5 thousand rubles. And for the opportunity to ride in Lux and Business class carriages, be prepared to pay 29 and 63 thousand rubles, respectively. And in terms of time, such a trip will not suit everyone.

Bus

A good alternative to trains is the bus. Private carriers are ready to offer their services to tourists. In particular, on Fridays, comfortable buses leave from the Autocity shopping center to Naples, the route of which runs through Milan. The cost of such a trip starts at 18.5 thousand rubles. At the same time, the carrier provides good discounts to some categories of passengers and those who pay for travel in both directions at once.

The bus is inferior to the train only in terms of the level of comfort and duration of the trip. Thus, the journey to Milan will take 4-6 hours longer than the train journey. And it is unlikely that you will be able to take a nap in the not very comfortable seats of the bus.

Auto

If you are the owner of an international driver's license and you have a car, you can go on a tour of Europe with the final destination in Milan on your own. To reduce costs, we advise you to consider the recently popular way of traveling with fellow travelers. There are even special sites where you can read such ads.

So we figured out how to get to Milan and considered the most popular types of transport. Plan your trip in advance, which will allow you to save on tickets and calculate the most affordable route option in each case.
